GENERAL

  • Treat everyone in a considerate, respectful, objective and courteous manner.

  • Do not engage, encourage or promote any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, abuse, intimidation, victimisation or vilification of others.

  • Recognise and value the contribution of all.

  • Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

  • To be conscious of each member's unique journey has had and to be respectful and thoughtful in how we engage with each other.

  • Do not use remarks based on race, religion, gender or ability. It can be hurtful and does not promote the inclusive nature of our club.

  • Always respect the use of facilities the club engages.

  • Members must conduct themselves in a manner which upholds the good reputation of the club at all club's events, including (without limitation): games, training, tours, social events, and club trips. Actions that coudl bring the club into disrepute are prohibited and include (without limitation): behaviour which is violent, or which should reasonably be understood to unduly hurt, humiliate or offend any other person.

USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA & WESTERN SWIFTS BRAND

  • Do not use information technology to make or post inappropriate comments against othe rmembers, clubs, or others which is discriminatory or offensive. Information technology includes (without limitation): email, instant messaging, tect messages, phone messages, digital images, and website postings (including social media such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other of the like).

  • Use of club branding is acceptable on social media platforms which is only primarily fo renhancing the club's image and branding where the club and its values are represented positively.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL

  • the commitee may exclude or remove any members or participants from any event if they are suspected of being intoxicated or udner the influence of illicit drugs.

  • Members must not participate if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

COMMITTEE

  • Involve others in planing, leadership, evaluation and decision-making related to the club.

  • Ensure information is distributed to all members.
